Universities that do not provide this information to the state, or that do not exhibit sufficient "intellectual diversity," will lose their funding.

    I don't imagine this will stick - it violates the first ammendment so flagrantly that even the current scotus crop probably wouldn't support it. Too damaging to the state's legitimacy.

    But before it inevitably gets challenged and injuncted, it makes good red meat for the base to remember next election cycle.
