I agree with Knoll. Also - I use Greenwald as a real cautionary tale for myself...
He doesn't just double down. He triples down. He quadruples down. Etc.
He never admits he's wrong. His apologies are always non-apologies.
He never changes his POV.
He never lets the other guy have the last word.
His dunk attempts are usually sad if not pathetic.
Beyond being Mr. Hot Take - he has a compulsive need to show everybody how smart he is. And he often makes himself look foolish and/or stupid.
I like to use stream of consciousness when I post. But it's no tragedy if at reddit I spend 10 minutes writing a hilarious takedown but I delete it because I finally realize it's not that funny and it's not even much a dunk. The digital equivalent of throwing it in the fire is sometimes best. Such is life.
