No way to prevent this in the only nation it regularly happens. Lol and they put heroic in quotes, like were about to see a bunch of "he was no angel" articles in the coming week. Like what the fuck man :honk-enraged: https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2021/06/26/us/arvada-colorado-police-shot-good-samaritan/index.html

"Finally, it is clear that the suspect bears responsibility for this tragic sequence of events," the department adds."

Uh yeah, it wasn't our fault we just default to kill. Fuuuuuuuck these people dude. Fuck this hellworld

This is one of the reasons why I hate that one argument about how arming all civilians will prevent mass shootings. Even in in a perfect scenario where some vigilantes all shoot the bad guy, the pigs are going to show up and escalate the situation further, because they're racist, trigger-happy twitchy pigs.

What if they start criminalizing not helping cops? That's the next logical step in hellworld. You don't die on the blue altar, you rot in prison.

There's a big ass digital billboard off I-25 commemorating the dead cop but not for the 'good Samaritan', must have run out of space I guess...

The moral of the story is that if you see someone shooting cops you should just leave them alone and go about your business.

The article says he was holding the shooter's AR-15 when he got shot by the cop, so that did change how I looked at it. Don't get me wrong, fuck cops, but I can understand how the cop arriving on the scene could reasonably assume the guy holding an AR-15 was the guy that shot the cop and might immediately shoot you too.
I know that doesn't justify killing him and he definitely deserves some sort of punishment, but it did change how bad I thought it seemed seeing the comments here.

Has the footage of the holding of the AR-15 been released? the cops have already been found to have tried to lie about the story saying the good Samaritan was killed by the shooter
