Basically, I wish I listened to metal. I'm a hip hop and chillout/downtempo head.
But, cool thing is I am in a Discord Server that is making a D&D-styled dungeon crawl with a ton of different levels in it. It's an album crawl. It is for the game Mork Borg which is an OSR game.
Earlier this spring, we made Dissident Whispers https://www.dicebreaker.com/games/dissident-whispers/news/dissident-whispers-rpg-book-announced which supported BLM. This is just a community project for fun. I don't think any funds are being raised this time around.
So, does anyone have any recommendations? What are some good metal comrade bands/album that I should check out to inspire a dungeon / adventure for a tabletop RPG? Thanks!
Infest the Rats' Nest is a thrash metal album made by Australian psych rock band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
It's sort of a sci-fi concept album about rich people building a colony on Mars and leaving all the poor people to fend for themselves on a dying Earth. The poor people build a floating blimp colony on Venus which fails and kills them, but they return as ghosts to haunt the rich people on Mars.
