Big fan of internet debate nerd in the same ranks as actual philosophers and political theorists
This would be a much more accurate meme if the person saying #NeverBiden was a single mom who had to work too much to make time to vote
Yeah, pretty much agree on everything. I still find it unbearably cringe to "stan" political commentators.
Putting Bernie on there doesn’t even make sense. Of course he’s going to capitulate to salvage whatever scraps of power he can. He’s spent his entire political life working to that point.... we fucking haven’t so we can do as we please.
In reality the people most affected by Trump by and large don’t vote because they are apathetic and believe, rightly or wrongly, that it doesn’t matter. Privilege is thinking we somehow know what’s best for those people and voting for their interests as some sort of savior act.
Right and to be fair this can be said about Americans as a whole but especially marginalized groups. There is a campaign to CREATE apathy from suppression but there is also a large group of “electoralism is pointless because both parties don’t give a shit about me” apathy. Which is both true and also dangerous.
"Shut it peasant! Orange man is bad for you! But don't fret I'll annoy people online who wont vote for dementia patient and cop and save the election!"
The only way this meme works, is if Biden will stop building the road to facism.
spoiler
He won't
If we support our oppressors hard enough they won't oppress us and actually let us run things a little you gotta believe me you guys
Just realized now that everyone in the picture, who are telling me being against electoralism is evidence of my excessive privilege is
A) Far, far more privileged than me
and
B) Directly profit off of electoralism.
Wild coincidence
edit: yethira beat me to it sort of lol
