I don't really get this one. Slave is a word. There's been slaves since the beginning of time. The word itself has a meaning. Idk, seems odd to censor it. I guess there's no harm in changing it though.

I feel like outside of the Millennium Falcon most Lego Star Wars ships have switched to being called "X's ship" since most ship names aren't used in anything other than supplementary material. Would not surprise me if this had been the chase for a while but this one got picked up by media companies trying to cash in on some quick nerd outrage.
