I'm legit just mad they never sent me the public enemy bumper sticker. Also got my bernie hoodie like 3 weeks after he dropped out so now it's my "getting dirty don't give a fuck" sweatshirt

Oh it's total bullshit. Like who cares that you can see Jack Dorsey donated the $2,800 personal max to Biden. You don't see, say the couple million (or whatever) he donated via dark money to PACs that push capital-friendly policies. But those of us who face personal issues donating to certain candidates, yeah our personal donation history is there for the world to see.

Same. Even though that is wholly untrue. Like… I actually have the receipts… And it’s not just donations to B*rnie, it’s many others… Why?

I think according to the FAQs it's only public record if it's over 200$ in a campaign.

You can see any amount donated on the FEC website. I had a few small donations to Bernie I checked once and they all showed up there.

I wonder, is this only picking up if you've claimed this on your taxes maybe?

That’s exactly it. I don’t include those in my tax forms. (Because I’m way too lazy to keep track of the all the small ones. Which are the only way I make donations. Not flexing, or signaling. I just usually only have a couple extra dollars available at most times.)

No. You can't claim political donations on your taxes. There's a threshold below which individual contributions aren't reported; I believe that threshold is $200 in total donations.

They’re not going to care you donated to a demsucc that was cheated out of the presidency twice. They are more worried about revolutionary actions and groups who oppose capitalism and the State that arises from bourgeois society.

I donated to him then like 5 months later he drops out and endorsed Biden and I’m just :stalin-gun-1: :stalin-gun-2:

On the other hand you can figure out which friends and family donated to Mayo Pete and bully them relentlessly

I paid money specifically because they promised I’d be on the cool list. Turns out they put me on the lib list instead.
