jesse-wtf all these silicon valley 'ideologies' are completely incoherent. like, EA is about getting rich to make world better whatever right, these clowns can't even define E/ACC properly.

At its core, e/acc argues that technology companies should innovate faster, with less opposition from “decels” or “decelerationists” — folks like AI safety advocates and regulators who want to slow the growth of technology.

What regulations are there in AI (LLMs)? Anyone can train their own LLMs if they want.

Land, whom Andreessen also deemed a “patron saint of techno-optimism,”

you can tell liberals are mindless drones because they literally believe history began like 20 years ago. Bruh liberal capitalist ideology has been around for 200 years lol

you can easily find British philosophers whose main job was to justify bourgeois accumulation and imagine ways of using computers to do management of plantation slave workers (shoutout to PMC feminist hero Ada Lovelace!)

Forbes has learned that Guillaume Verdon, the founder of stealth AI startup Extropic and a former Google engineer, is behind the provocative Twitter account leading the “effective accelerationism” movement sweeping Silicon Valley.

This the most "you take psychic damage" sentence I have encountered in years.

I did a double take when I read the headline because at first all I saw was "BasedB" and then a small letter followed by a tall double letter.
