"BUT HE WON THO! HE LIVED TO BE ELEVENTY BILLION YEARS OLD AND NEVER GOT PUNISHED FOR WHAT HE DID!!!"

Yeah dude, we know.

It basically goes without saying that the rich/powerful will likely never face even a fraction of what they deserve no matter how horrific their atrocities. That's just how things work under capitalism/neoliberalism.

You're not exactly blowing anyone's minds Mr. Edgy Doomer (And if I'm calling you a Doomer, that's saying something).

Let's celebrate that they're unable to directly hurt anyone else anymore and try to make a world where they don't get away with it.

If the rich become immortal I will change my position on random acts of violence being a bad thing that isn't useful. Every single rich person that dies while the poor have no access to that technology will be absolutely worthwhile until they hand it over out of fear.

I once had an idea for a sci-fi story where a futuristic communist society gets invaded by some weird alien cyborg army, and it’s revealed they aren’t actually aliens but that the bourgeois fled into deep space and become weird immortal slug people who realized being rich is boring if you don’t have people to oppress and so made an army to come back and enslave everyone.

Can't be worse than the Marvel Mangaverse version that was just a geisha that paddled people's behinds
