"One Democratic operative tells Axios' Alayna Treene that most Democrats aren't saying, '"Oh, no, our heir apparent is f—king up, what are we gonna do?" It's more that people think, "Oh, she’s f—king up, maybe she shouldn't be the heir apparent,"'" Axios reported.

Very telling that libs internally in the party regard her as the "heir apparent" when actually there's supposed to be a democratic process to the selection of the presidential nominee.

“heir apparent” in the US, “hand-picked successor” in socialist Vuvuzuela :citations-needed:

It's a joke. They are completely self aware that the machinations of the party selection process are actually a sideshow to give the public the illusion of democracy and representation.

Absolutely. They don’t seem to be hiding it as well as they used to if the last two presidential primaries are any indication.

The more time goes on the less any of them hide it. I am fascinated by what environmental factors or psychology causes this change in behaviour. They were definitely much much better at it before.

Like, it's a really obvious change over time if you chart it out from post-ww2 to now.

      Biden has two main problems...

      1. He could die in office or he could become incapacitated due to age before the 2024 elections.

      2. He will not die in office nor become entirely incapacitated.

Biden is as charismatic as a bowl of old mayonnaise. Now imagine if next year Biden's brain starts to fail in a way that can't be hidden. At random times that bowl of old mayonnaise starts vomiting up strange and unscripted "America is the greatest country in the history of Corn Pop" word salad.

Luckily for me I am not a Dem and will not be voting Dem, so I do not have this problem. I wish them the best of luck in dealing with this!
