    Am I reading this right:

    Techno-feudalism is defined by companies extracting value by harvesting data from their users rather than selling a product in the conventional sense?

    The invocation of feudalism calls back to how lords used serfs to extract value (grain) from the land, and is mirrored in how companies use customers to extract value (data) from the world?

      It's kind of unclear what he means. Users as the basis for profit generation for those companies was mentioned almost in passing while "central banks are now the basis for profit" felt like the central thrust.
