Changed my title from “residential school” to “concentration camp”, because that’s what they fucking were.

Yeah someone here said they killed a similar proportion of the children as some of the Nazi ones that weren't specifically death camps. 40-60%

What I'm getting from this is that "China is putting religious minorities in death camps" is yet more western projection

"You can't be anti religion if you want to appeal to the global religious proletariat"

The global proletariat are only religious because of shit like this. You can't be secular if the premier religious authority have the full might of the reactionary state forcing their dogma down your throat.

Well you see liberation theology exists so if you have any hostility toward Christianity at all then you are an atheist fedora neckbeard

          Yep, co-signed.

(btw in my own anecdotal observation, folks who were never raised in a Christian church tend to be the ones who call you an atheist fedora neckbeard for saying things critical of Christianity. But those of us who dealt with the bullshit for years or decades and see how traumatizing it is to people... Yeah just because liberation theology exists and is alright doesn't negate the awfulness from the remaining 95% of Christians)

Yeah, there wasn't a single Christian in sub Saharan Africa for instance before colonialism and shit like these camps. Now countries like South Africa are overwhelmingly majority Christian, like 80% or more. Which at the end of the day, brings up what decolonialism means to different individuals. Many liberation heroes are Christian for instance. Lots of people want to keep their religious beliefs, despite the past, and they should still be respected and supported regardless. No one should judge someone for that. Yet there is a growing minority of people that want nothing to do with western religions, and their outlook is just as valid, and they should also be supported. It's such a complex interpersonal issue in general exist.

But the NGK, the main Catholic church and megachurches that literally advise their congregation to poison themselves should not exist

Both Canada and the Catholic Church haven't gotten nearly enough shit for being monstrously genocidal.

The fact the Catholic Church is still allowed to exist after all the mass child rape, and now, mass child murder is proof that humanity has no hope of long term survival.
