      Yeah writers still think that every dialogue has to be exposition and all the themes and points the movie is trying to make should be said out loud and shoved in your face. Complete lack of subtlety that borders on corny. For example, watch Red Cliff and listen to any general speak.

          Chinese films lack sufficient cynicism and smugness to truly satisfy an American audience.

          They need to learn to create subtle artistic masterpieces like... uh... Saving Ryan's Privates and um... The 69th Avengers Movie.

        I’m not gonna lie I can’t really stand any Chinese anime, everything I’ve watched so far is just so… not good

        Fog Hill of the Five Elements is fantastic. Honestly haven't seen much else.
