Yeah writers still think that every dialogue has to be exposition and all the themes and points the movie is trying to make should be said out loud and shoved in your face. Complete lack of subtlety that borders on corny. For example, watch Red Cliff and listen to any general speak.

Chinese films lack sufficient cynicism and smugness to truly satisfy an American audience.

They need to learn to create subtle artistic masterpieces like... uh... Saving Ryan's Privates and um... The 69th Avengers Movie.

I’m not gonna lie I can’t really stand any Chinese anime, everything I’ve watched so far is just so… not good

Fog Hill of the Five Elements is fantastic. Honestly haven't seen much else.

An eagle couldn’t direct a movie.

      J. J. Abrams can't direct a movie, either, and if you ask him to try one more time, he wants a couple millions of dollars and a cameo appearance for his annoying friend, whereas the eagle is happy if you just give him a perch and a bunch of dead rodents to feast on.

Wait, I thought they were angry that China was doing the meany no-no censorship. Why is the eagle saying 'cut'? Get it together, Garrison.

Freedom is when you stop capitalist mega-corps making movies that include Chinese representation. The more you stop capitalist mega-corps making movies that include Chinese representation, the freedomer it is.
