Since we had this question about reactionaries this weekend, let's do some self crit this Monday. I hate Mondays.

For me it's anyone who was in any way seriously pro-Tulsi. A military veteran with Hindu nationalist sympathies? Sign me up! Wait, why is she going on PragerU???

Remember: no sectarian fighting.

Trotsky breaking with the rest of the Bolsheviks. The guy could have been a top-level Bolshevik for the rest of his life and had a massive impact on the future of the Soviet Union (and still could have just blamed Stalin every time something went wrong) but traded it all for an ice pick to the brain in Mexico.

You could think he was right or wrong, but I think it's unarguably a huge self own.

Stalin would've purged him either way. I feel like that shouldn't be too controversial a take

Depends how early. There was a point towards the end of Lenin's life when Stalin made overtures to Trotsky to take joint command, but Trotsky had to be a giant nerd. I like to think the two would have moderated the worst tendencies of the other.
