    If the last 60 years of sanctions and coup attempts, plus the fall of the Soviet Union, haven't been enough to topple the Cuban government, nothing will. They clearly have popular support and no amount of whining from some assholes in Miami is going to change that.

    Glad he chose to distance himself from one of the only good policies Obama had. I guess they smelled blood because of the pandemic, and just couldn't pass up the opportunity to try and do a color revolution. Fucker.

    I'm glad I live under a non-authoritarian regime where I individually negotiate my relationship with the state, or something.

    Biden has made a very powerful and definitely meaningful statement.

    Edit: This reminds me of how NPR told me for weeks that we were moments away from the barrios of Venezuela rising up and demanding that their oilfields be put into the private ownership of the richest Americans.
