My dad yesterday: "Did you see what they're doing in Cuba? Plainclothes officers just grabbing people off the streets!
Me: "Oh, that sounds like our police."
Dad: "No, these guys weren't in uniform. People thought they were being kidnapped."
Me: "That happens here too. I watched video of people getting snatched off the street and thrown into unmarked minivans. People thought they were being kidnapped."
Dad changes the subject. Good stuff.
