    (4) clearly and firmly states that anti-Zionism is antisemitism;

    I was wondering what the resolution says that the press was interpreting as equating anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism, well there it is

      I don’t think it has direct repercussions; I think it lays the foundation for future ones.

      Only if you're a sitting representative

      As we saw with them censoring Tlaib, they want to make sure that we all know the legislative branch is united in their Zionism

        It is cool to see the political class screaming "shut the fuck up you prole scum we're not going to let you bully us!"

      tbh, a lot of what houses/parliaments pass is "stating" and "affirming" this or that, rather than passing laws

      Does this actually have any repercussions

      The primary repercussion is that you've got a majority of House Reps on record endorsing this framing. So now that the votes are functionally whipped, we can move on to the "PROTECT ISRAEL Act", which uses the "anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism" language a second time and implements actual legal sanctions against people.

    :gianni-Infantino: Today, I feel Palestinian. Today I feel anti-genocide. Today I feel racist. Wait no that's not right.

    Listen, just cuz I hate one national park in Utah doesn't mean I'm antisemitic
