Fucking thank you. I'm so sick of people that should know better (looking at your online leftists) just casually dismissing people's legitimate reasons for being hesitant. If we really want to build a mass movement we have to stop dismissing people's concerns and acting like smug libs. We have to meet people where they are; not where we would like them to be.

The FDA should fully authorize the vaccine (remove the "Emergency Use Authorization" status) immediately so the media can start flagging "it's not fully approved" as misinformation. The manufacturers are literally not even allowed to advertise the vaccine until it's fully approved. Being "overly cautious" means letting hundreds die every day to preserve the sactity of FDA bureaucracy.

Paying people to take the vaccine is a good idea too, as is some form of guaranteed, paid medical leave for vaccine side effects (obviously there should be medical leave regardless).

At this point there's no "magic bullet" to fixing the hesitancy crisis, but there are a lot of tweaks and minor policy changes that could go a long way.

The way to solve the hesitancy crisis is for the US government to manage to not do any horrific medical experiments on anyone for like 20 years in a row.

His idea to pay people $1000 to get the shot is moronic. You'd have to pay everyone who got it retroactively, not just the new people. There would be fucking riots if you just gave it to the new people, and giving the $1000 to everyone would be more expensive and his whole reason to give people money to get the shot was because it would be relatively cheap....

I'd say they should just give out more stimulus checks but only for the vaccinated.

i cant believe im letting other people's stupidity push me towards mandating vaccines.....im for bodily autonomy, and im definitely not for marginalized people / poor people whove had shit experiences with medical help having to potentially double down on their truama when this vaccine gets attached to employment, the ability to enter establishments, schooling, equal access to public institutions all of which will have an inevitably carceral implementation.
