well articulated. i was just talking about this phenomenon an hour ago with co-workers, where the large mass of people elevated to power by material compensation and/or institutional authority are people that do not recognize the adversarial nature of the system and are afraid to do anything but full-heartedly support it. the true believers, if you will.
