    I once had a chud explain to me that I could in fact repay my 100k+ by working more as I only needed 2 hours a day (including weekends) to eat, shower, do household chores, commute and look after my children.

    I'm not paying that shit back unless I win the lottery. Creditors can get fucked.

        They can't acknowledge that hopeless financial situations exists as that would imply that capitalism wasn't perfect. They need to make up a hypothetical Personal Responsibility™ scenario to maintain their worldview.

          They often will acknowledge a currently hopeless situation, but then justify it as the culmination of a long string of personal failures and is thus deserved. I got a ton of "should have done this or that" type advice back when I was homeless, instead of any advice on how to escape homelessness.

          Fuck, this was absolutely me back when I didn't know shit and just wanted to believe the shit my teachers told me (they were mostly really conservative or libertarian)
