It's full of people who think that being mean, edgy, and condescending is the height of leftism. I don't just mean our argument, I mean the tone of the whole website. And there are basically no anarchists here. Meanwhile, all the liberals from the subreddit are all over all of the leftist subreddits which is really annoying.

Realistically we're not going to go straight from everyone being respectful of everyone else's space to revolutionary violence. There are going to be some random scuffles and some random confrontations that are more serious first. If, during one of those scuffles, some piece of trash gets punched and is seriously injured or killed, I'm not going to feel too bad about it. It's not how that person should be handled in an ideal world, but we're pretty fucking far from an ideal world.
I think the disconnect here is that you're talking about an ideal world -- an ideal world I agree with and want to make happen -- but most other people in this thread are talking about a world where capitalism is falling apart at the seams and we've already had months of street violence.
If we're talking about an actual revolution having a prayer of happening, yes, sometimes killing a reactionary without trial or formal authority will need to happen. If we can't stomach that, holy fucking shit we're going to get lined up against a wall and shot.
They can say all they want without America's racist, apartheid government stepping in. I have to live with their shit every day, every single day. When we have the numbers to silence these fucking monsters we should. That is justice.
