incredible brain melting slop.

all the great hits of liberalism revisited.

democracy under attack equally from the right and the left!

some masturbation about post ww2 hegemony being for the good of all mankind.

remember to vote for genocide joe, i guess.

we celebrated that victory [fall of the berlin wall] for a decade as Liberty democracy and international respect and cooperation took hold

where was that cooperation when the former soviet union was looted? or parts of the middle east destroyed?

anti-democratic sentiments are on the rise both on the left and the right side of the spectrum populism and gaslighting has become acceptable discourse

the left? really? in the west?

also of course zero reflection on why people are flocking to these gaslighters and populists when they didnt before. it's all to do with education in history, probably...

To them "democracy" means liberal democracy. Opposing it in favor of any other form of democracy is "anti-democratic".

yeah sure, and i guess the sentiment is on the rise on the left too, but since it's basically unorganized and entirely unrepresented in parliaments, mentioning it in the same breath as the very real and present menace of fascism breathing down our necks is ... is fascist shit.

and that's just for him in his comfy liberal democracy in europe. for many, fascism has been the slavering beast eating their flesh for a while now...

That mustache is immediatly disqualifying of any opinions you espouse how do people not realize that. Combine it with those fucking glasses and it might as well literally be somebody going "hello fellow kids have you seen this report from the Cia on how important it is to vote this election."

    My comment there:

Democracy will not end for it hasn't existed. [understand I am talking to libs, I cant go full socialist on 1st sentence, socialism = democracy]

Workplace democracy? Barely ever had any, unions are at its weakest ever. Only electoral pseudo-democracy has existed, voting for parties where some have access to obscene ammounts of lobbyist money to manipulate the public, often parties which don't have open lists and primaries for electing their leadership, or that outright break their campaign promises. Imperialist exploitation of the global south, cold war coups on scary socialists democratically coming to power, and lobbying most countries to follow the neoliberal and globalist economic order? Peak democracy.

On the video content: The celebration of the takedown of the berlin wall would lead to the robbing of eastern german industry and people. A net loss for their people, only a win for the people who left it. Premature celebrations for a unification, after a separation caused by the west refusing a demilitarized united germany, and remilitarization of west germany.

A strange belief on the "end of history" while wars roared across all the world. The guerrillas and narcos in Latam. The continued violence on the Levant (Israel-Syria invading Lebanon in the 1990s, Iran-Iraq war, pro-west dictators). The radical movements across the muslim world (thanks to the western world arming of jihadists in Afghanistan and supporting salafism). The never ending wars in Africa among warlords and dictators to control mines for western companies to exploit. The brutal conflicts among ex-socialist republics in Asia and . Only East Asia and the West saw relative peace, through sacking of everyone else.

Random comments about Mexico being a failed democracy. USA or UK with first past the post are leagues more undemocratic.

The centrist and anti-leftist bias of the show participants unavoidably leads to reaching wrong conclusions through incorrect axioms.
