American Ultra is my favorite of these, I love to watch a stoner sleeper agent beat the evil government.
American Made is the Tom Cruise movie glorifying the CIA smuggling drugs and funding counter-revolutionaries in South America, in case you forgot what the extremely vague title referred to.
IDK why I ever downloaded American Beauty, please don't hurt me.
American Hustle - so-so Linklater film. Kinda like him trying to do Goodfellas or something. Not terrible but I can see how some would find it boring and uninteresting as its filled with cliches.
American Honey - super depressing imo. lots of poverty porn and some sexual assault stuff. poor teen with no prospects has to leave her siblings behind and becomes a traveling salesperson for a pyramid scheme. It's shot a lot like The Florida Project, and I almost thought they were the same director. Similar themes. But Honey doesn't have the innocence that FP does.
American Movie - haven't seen this but I want to. I've heard good things.
I'm sorry my brain has been poisoned by /r/moviescirclejerk, and I haven't even been on there for about a year
The only American ____ movie I've seen is American Psycho and it's not here.
The list is only the movies on a server, and that's one my friend had on DVD so didn't need to download.
I think it's pretty good, but American Psycho is a must-watch if you want to get the references people make to it.
Nonono I have seen it. It's the inverse, I haven't seen any of the other movies. I've heard American Beauty is really good.
American Beauty is crap. Late nineties suburbanite navel gazing
American Beauty was fine the last time I watched it, and it won awards, but the dad in it is a creep technically-not-pedo Kevin Spacey. So watching it now would give me the worst vibes.
Acting is not about being someone different. It's finding the similarity in what is apparently different, then finding myself in there.
