Can be multiple. In my case, I think my sister buying us volumes of Ranma 1/2, FLCL, and watching gurren lagann had the biggest impacts.

    medabots is one I only ever saw a few episodes of, but I remember loving what I watched. Beedabot's design was cool

      I'm guessing you're thinking Metabee, he's the main robot. It's a fun action show and the animation is really nice compared to most kids animes at the time but I think the biggest draw is that it's genuinely funny, not in an over the top way, but it's way more of a comedy than people seem to remember it being
