The Texas gop is trying to pass voter suppression measures in the name of “election integrity”. In an above averagely effective application of their normal tactics (running away), Democratic members of the legislature left Texas to prevent a quorum. Greg Abbot called a special legislative session to try to pass the bills, but now too many republicans have the rona to reach a quorum anyways
