Hey everyone! Almost forgot you all this weekend - been absurdly busy and tired. So how did your week go? Over here I messed up all my goals, except minutes trained, and its a bummer, but whatever.

What went right? What went wrong? How do you plan on fixing it?

Ladies and enbies, how did you show men that they are the inferior gender?

Everyone: How do you feel about a weekend megathread, that follows the template of the Mega Megathread, with some interesting historical factoid, related to sports/fitness/martial arts?

I’ve been running 5.5 miles six days out of seven for a month or two and for the past two days my body has been like: stop. So I’m taking a break today. The runs that come after a break are the fucking best.

I’ve also managed to keep my BMI under 25 for awhile now so that’s also super cool.

5.5 miles a day? Absolute madlad. Breaks are really important, so remember to take more of them, otherwise at some point your body will just crash ...

Finally able to do sets of ten pull-ups. At 250 lbs. it feels like I'm doing some real work.

That said, I don't have as cardio condition as I'd like. Still need to get my running speed up and endurance up too.

IDK, but I have noticed exhaling works better for me. We have a natural reaction to hold our breaths when something very stresfull is about to happen, and lifting something really heavy does count as such.

It's been pretty stormy here so I haven't been able to jog, but I'm very much enjoying increasing my endurance. What I really want is to weightlift but I cannot trust gyms with our failed covid response.
