on one hand, trump only got elected because the Russians used social media to spread fake news and misinformation to trick the naive public
on the other hand, all trump voters are irredeemably bad people and that makes it ok to not care whenever something bad happens in a state that voted for him
ofc libs are always silent on the dems running one of the worst presidential candidates in history that was universally despised. And they always blame people who don't vote rather than asking themselves why these people don't vote in the first place.
It's literally the skinner "am I out of touch?" meme.
reflect on why your campaign didn't connect with people, and examine the material conditions that lead millions of Americans to embrace radical ideologies? sounds hard, I'll just start a conspiracy that this is all a Russian plot, and also write off half the country as "the problem", and call it a day
CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News ignored a Clinton speech to air Trump's empty podium. I'm not sure how the Russians managed that, but it really speaks of their brilliance.
These aren't contradictions. Libs are often technocrats who want some kind of intelligence quotient based hierarchy with themselves at the top and whoever they deem as dum-dums at the bottom. For them, being "fooled" by Russia is an indicator of low IQ, which makes one intrinsically bad. I think this is part of the reason why libs believe reactionaries are simply natural and will always exist, becuase they tie it to some abstract notion of biological intelligence or cultural aptitude.
