I used to live in Baltimore mofo, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Also, I’ve been surprised at the pockets of luxury that exist in weird ass places in this country, I’ve stood in million dollar comes in fucking bumfuck Wyoming for Christ sakes.

Truth is, if you live in a city or urban center, you’re privileged, and you have no idea how good you have it. You’re not abandoned and left to die yet.

I get that you have it rough and I feel for that, but you clearly haven't seen the poverty in cities. Most of my work with local orgs is getting mutual aid to people who have been abandoned.
