      Fun fact: to do biological defense, you need to develop vaccines for likely new pathogens. Which just so happens to mean that you need to develop those pathogens first.

      Lol we have had repeated "Incident" reports in town from thew fort over the past three decades; like one every few years. Plus there is a massive cancer corridor adjacent to the base, last I head litigation is still ongoing for medical compensation.

      Fort Detrick was completely shut down in August 2019
      There was a pneumonia-like outbreak in July 2019, which tested negative by the CDC for common pathogens. Fairfax county, right where Fort Belvoir is located.

      There's been an endless string of mystery pneumonias in the US from June 2019-December 2019.
