Something stupid about freedom of speech. Apparently they're just libertarians over there I guess, never looked at it before just saw it in the linked subs from this post.
Someone unironically said "the only way to beat a bad guy who has freedom of speech, is with a good guy who has freedom of speech"
I have similar suspicions but I've only seen one compelling argument (as in, more evidence than just asserting it's true, but also compelling) ever on reddit. The vast majority of people accusing WotB of being unauthentic usually just point out people there aren't fans of Biden as if that was literally impossible for non-supporters of Trump.
Yeah, that's the kinds of people Bernie attracted. A bunch of just vaguely angry western libs who want change but have no clue how the world works. The leftists were the minority.
They are not even libertarians; they are unironic antivacc, horse dewormer cultists who we can assume would be more than happy if vaccine advocacy was banned. I know this because I talked shit in that thread and got lectured buy some user (who seemingly has only ever posted in that sub, and quite a lot too) about how the word "antivacc" is actually just propaganda against antivaccers. (Well duh)
Bernie did just fine. He raised a bunch of money, mobilized a bunch of people, revived ideas that were dead and burned during the Clinton Admin, and now holds just about as much power as any single Senator can muster outside of Appropriations.
The subreddit is a bunch of chronically online weirdos who had nothing to do with it. They got stomped.
Lol /r/wayofthebern Supports this apparently.

How's that going for you Bernie lmao
I think that subreddit might be an unironic op of some sort
:this: it has been run by chuds since at least the primaries
One of the only things the libs were right about was that sub being an op
You know something is weird when the r/politics brigaders are the based ones in that thread.

Nah it's truly fucking weird over there.
yes, but that's not evidence, and they'd say they same thing about here.

Dude's a committee chairman in the safest of seats coasting towards retirement. I don't think he could give two shits about a subreddit.
Yeah, obviously. Just meant the irony of saying that while Bernie got stomped twice by the "bad guys with free speech"

Either way I'm not associating that sub with the actual guy and I don't hate him or anything, I supported and helped canvas back in the day.
