I've followed a discussion on Twitter among LGBTQ people a few weeks ago who talked about exactly this. They were concerned about the amount of young, queer people at CSD parades with highly reactionary takes on men in fetish gear making out, and how the number seems to be growing year by year. According to them, stuff like "what if children see this" are common arguments among younger people, which is obviously concerning because that's exactly the kind of bigoted reasoning reactionaries have used for decades to shame LGBTQ people into hiding.

For what it's worth, they came to the same conclusion, that there's a growing number of LGBTQ people who don't know anything about the history and struggle, who grew up in a world which accepted them, and have in turn become far more reactionary than previous generations. They don't want to be associated with "the freaks", they just want to live a normal life, y'know? Their sexuality, unlike the fetish crowd's, is "normal", after all.

Edit: Forgot to add, the problem here is obviously that these kids don't understand how privileged they really are, and how fragile said privilege really is. They don't grasp how easily their rights can be taken away from them, and if you know anything about history or the world in general, how some people will definitely try to do just that.
