    Anyway, it's extremely funny to me that these NATO Nazis hyperfixate on the essentiality of race and ethnicity as a prerequisite for statehood. Especially when the EU is headquartered in a country that spontaneously declared nationhood after a series of riots which kicked off from people singing songs from a nationalistic opera.

    Wind the clock back not too far and half of Germany would identify much more strongly with Austria than with "Germany". Go back further and things get even more fractured ethnically.
