Same lol they didn’t make heelies in my size by the time I was like 13 :bird-mad:
I am now anti capitalist because of it
Psychogeography should be the foremost design principle. Every city should reflect how one might wander about on heelys, the tricks they might do, and how other urban elements conflict with a roller skate-based culture.
Jet Set Radio urbanism, I like it! We should also equip every pedestrian with spraypaint.
They're cheap as hell now, like cheaper than a nice pair of sneakers
Goddamnit I used to work at Skechers in the mid 00s and every other customer who’d walk in would ask “do you sell Heelys?” And I’d tell them constantly that no we do not sell them, we only sell Skechers and Skechers doesn’t make those types of shoes anymore.
I need heelys-centric city pictures, please.
My school banned Heelys just after I got a pair, so I would go cruising around the local big box store when I went shopping with my mom.
Reminded me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVbtVQ2BXvs
my man having such a good time, trying so hard not to crack an enormous smile
I love it
I really enjoy skating. It'd be neat if it was everywhere like a non-combat version of Tribes Ascend which I had a loads of fun playing.
