Expanding our Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy to address organizations and movements that have demonstrated significant risks to public safety.

Actions they are taking include removing groups from Facebook, limiting recommendations, reducing their rank in the news feed, reduce in search, prohibiting ads, and prohibiting fundraising.

For militia organizations and those encouraging riots, including some who may identify as Antifa, we’ve initially removed over 980 groups, 520 Pages and 160 ads from Facebook. We’ve also restricted over 1,400 hashtags related to these groups and organizations on Instagram.

    This obviously sucks, but for truth's sake you should know that they also removed a bunch of right-wing shit. I use an alt account to lurk on some RW militia groups, and they all think this was targeted at them. It looks like they probably cut the extremes off of both sides.

      Just like last time when google purged 800 leftist news sites, take down 1 or 2 high profile rightwing sites like infowars, then go for the real targets that would normally push the boundaries of acceptable discourse from the left. All of this is purely to help milquetoast centrist keep the illusion of lively debate alive, while "securing democracy".
