    My Dad is a lifelong Republican and he's gone from "climate change is a liberal hoax" to "actually warming the planet is good because it will reduce deaths from extreme cold"

      Mine went from it’s a hoax to “well maybe it’s happening but it’s not man made and the climate just does that sometimes.”

        After the scorching heat wave in the Pacific Northwest this year my dad basically said he can no longer deny its happening. Unfortunately he took the even dumber take than just denying it.

    Republicans vehemently deny anthopogenic climate change, and this is what these conversations need to specify. You can say that climate change is happening "because it's just natural", but you're still in denial
