On October 1st, 2021 then president Joe Biden appeared on a live special news broadcast with rapper Nicki Minaj to discuss vaccine hesitancy among young people. The 60 minute interview was an unmitigated disaster and historians believe led to Biden's crushing defeat to Tucker Carlson in 2024. The incident included Biden talking about Minaj's grandfather's testicles, attempting to do a push-up, and Biden spilling a soda all over himself. The White House, in response, went on a firing spree of staffers who let Biden speak live on air unscripted but by then the damage was done.
I like watching old Joe Biden clips. Not just for his obvious reactionary and racist views, but also because he used to be a good public speaker, especially when it comes to things he cares a lot about (war on drugs, racism, war crimes,...).
remember when they said we couldn't elect bernie because he might have another heart attack in office? Also, didn't libs go off about this same thing when trump did it? This place is for the birds, everyone's too old to do anything good.
