But the FBI, which traveled multiple times to Havana to investigate, later issued a report that found no evidence of an attack and determined the staffers were most likely suffering from mass psychogenic illness, or mass hysteria. Diplomats have bristled at the fact the FBI did not directly interview the diplomats affected.

I WASN'T HUNGOVER OR IMAGINING IT, THOSE COMMIES HIT ME WITH A MICROWAVE GUN!!! WHY??? I DON'T KNOW

I want to just discuss the pure insanity, not just of the alleged 'attacks', but of the complete lack of any reason to do so. What does any country stand to gain from 'mildly irritating' another country's diplomats? Especially when those diplomats being angered are primarily attached to a massive, highly aggressive empire that bays like a rabid hound out for blood at the SLIGHTEST perceived insult? Particularly when said country (the US) has been trying to literally starve out the country in question for decades (Cuba), and has been looking for ANY good reason to wipe them off the face of the earth for as long

It's deranged, particularly when factoring in the evidence that it is also complete horseshit

That’s my favorite thing about this absurdity. Not only does the technology to do the thing in question just not fucking exist, even if it did why would anyone invent this? It’s completely pointless!

It wasn't rational, the Cuban government was just acting out of blind, frothing hatred over how free we are.
