Whenever I eat those foods I’m completely fine. At worst I feel gassy or feel like shit cause it’s usually high in carbs but it’s my fault for eating a lot of it :shrug-outta-hecks:. But I’ve only gotten diarrhea from accidentally eating expired ham lol

capsaicin and spices can stimulate peristalsis if you're not accustomed to them at all, even in small amounts

add a little bit of unaccustomed fiber from legumes and baby you got a stew going

I think it's the spice. However I've also mostly heard this from college kids which I really think is becuase they have such horrible diets that getting any amount of fibre makes them void their entire system.

whenever i mention ordering indian food there's inevitably one of my (also white, not always the same one) friends who HAS to chime in with "oh wow feeling brave today huh? good luck with the diarrhea!" literally every time, and only with indian food.

Edit: I fucking love indian food

Only food that's ever given me diarrhea has been burgers

Hell, only place that's ever given me food poisoning was Red Robin

My grandparents took me to a golden corral once when I was a teen and I got the worst food poisoning of my life from that. Diarrhea and vomiting (at the same time, double the fun!) for almost three days.

The floor of that place was also so greasy that I almost slipped a bunch of times.

I had a little kid vomit on the back of my head at Golden Corral once

Completely lost my appetite, but my dad had already paid for my plate so I had to try and eat anyway :agony-shivering:

It's this one. Taco Bell has like beans, lettuce and tomato and that's 3-4x more vegetable content in a few tacos than they normally get in a day.

They're Mayos (in spirit, at minimum) that can't handle spiciness or harbor prejudices about food poisoning/cleanliness at restaurants that are visibility non-white.

Indian food is often made with ghee which can fuck up people with dairy intolerances. Took me awhile to figure that one out

I like spicy food and even I get the shits from overdoing it, I can't imagine what it does to the average mayo GI tract
