    Can't decide if these are worse than the Space Force dress uniforms or not

      Oh no. I never looked those up before but they are an aesthetic disaster. Giant buttons running up the front asymmetrically, looking like a bastardized peacoat? Oh hell nah.

      At least their design budget didn't go to producing one munition instead, I guess.

      The highest likely hood for failures on space suits are the points of contact on them, this means the feet (walking), the hands (manipulation), the head (cause you have different size than without helmet) and the rest that could stick to things. This means it is good to easily see if there are leaks on your hand and feet - which black boots and gloves make hard to see unless they have a paste in them.

      Furthermore it is good to have a bright, but not too bright surface area on your hands so you can differentiate between the modules and screws you got (which might be harder with black gloves). I will stop here, but form follows function is not always bad.
