HOLY SHIT SHIT LMAO. That is fucking wild, "The Soviets were wrong for defending themselves against Nazis because murder is authoritarian" is not the take I expected but here we are.

I will say some of those comments are pretty cringe though for GenZedong and a couple of them demonstrate a clear lack of understanding of anarchism.

Extremely online teenagers need to read more and aesthetic less (and that isn't directed at any one tendency in particular).

I think the reason anarchism is so toxicly liberal online is because it's really easy to call yourself an anarchist when your deepest political theory is listening to the Dead Kennedys. God knows half the kids I went to highschool with called themselves anarchists and talked about how much they loved the Democrats.

Real "if I had been defending the Eastern Front, I would have simply debated the Nazis in the marketplace of ideas" energy.

I'd ask but I would probably get banned. One of my favorite comments is this one though:

      Venothyl · 5h Ancom

well good thing i'm not edgy

though being a teen probably doesn't help this sub's reputation :/

Someone should post a poll like the screenshot from the :funny-clown-hammer: sub asking how many books on communism/anarchism they've read.

there was a "former tankies" subreddit (which i can't seem to find right now) and someone made a post asking what made them a "tankie" and which books they had read. every singles answer said that they were radicalized by memes and that "they don't have time to read books". definitely sounded like they were very serious Marxists.

conservatives who join thinking it’s anti liberal

Wish we got more of these, must be our militant support for LGBTQ people and open hatred for fascists that prevents that from happening. Definitely something I kinda miss from the old sub, the best we get now are tragically transparent and inept wreckers and chuds that just spam bigoted copypastas

Few know this site even exists. On reddit you could discover subreddits a variety of ways, but you can't do that here. You have to seek it out specifically. Moreover it's very easy to break one of the multitude of rules so when new users stumble over one and get banned, they don't bother coming back.
