I'm kind of lifting stuff from what Sam said today, but he thinks that she's tanking her chances at this as well. For a lobbying career you need some sort of legitimacy backing it, you need to show you have some connections with one of the parties or with the senate, and right now she's very publicly burning bridges with the Democratic party. And similar with the fundraisers thing, the person who tanked a Democratic president's agenda isn't the one giving fundraising speeches for Democrats.
Don't think she cares, apparently she's more concerned with the lobbying career after and getting paid to make 30 min speeches at fundraisers.
