      I was still too much of a lib back then to have read Parenti or even Chomsky 😥 But I felt a lot of cognitive dissonance and stopped watching him after I realized they didn't care about the wars the US was still involved in once Obama was elected.

      If I had seen a leftist criticism of US media back then, I wouldn't have been a lib for nearly as long.
