Nothing tops them unironically floating the idea that the vice presidential debates could be held in English: https://tw.news.yahoo.com/%E5%89%AF%E7%B8%BD%E7%B5%B1%E9%9B%BB%E8%A6%96%E8%BE%AF%E8%AB%96%E7%94%A8%E8%8B%B1%E6%96%87-%E8%B3%B4%E5%A3%AB%E8%91%86%E6%89%B9%E8%8D%92%E8%AC%AC%E7%9B%B4%E6%8C%87%E4%B8%8B%E5%A0%B4%E6%9C%83%E8%AE%8A%E9%80%99%E6%A8%A3-150644713.html

Its probably because you dont have the chinese font pack on ur pc
A bunch of hexadecimal, apparently. Feels like we’re playing bingo.
They promote Australian "Freedom Wine" and Taiwan "Freedom Beer" in the rest of the video. I'm guessing they have a media policy that any (government?) depiction of alcohol in a positive context must have the messages.
Because they can't even drink without somehow making it lame and whiny.
The average Taiwanese isn't this annoying. What you're seeing are the type of people that post on r/Taiwan and Mandarin Subreddits bitching about Mainland China 24/7. I've met a few of these types and they can easily be described as your average Taiwanese Redditor or the equivalent of that lib you know who hangs Ukrainian flags outside their house.
Neither the average Taiwanese or the average Hong Konger are nearly this cringe. Westoid spaces and media just amplify the cringe ones.
I used to go on Reddit to see the insane shit people from my country would say. They would obsess over Ukraine and call Lula leftist scum. Something I haven't really seen people do in person.
The problem with the average person being a lurker is that they also agree with many of these cringe libs, they just nod along as they scroll
