There's some pretty mind-bogglingly dumb fucking moments if I remember correctly, I couldn't make it far. Communists denying shit happening in front of their faces, telling workers they didn't see what they just saw, and claiming the thing killing them was impossible so might as well do nothing. Plus the main POV character for the entire series kills himself in what I'm pretty certain is the first scene (this is supposed to be set way after the event). Really sets the mood.
