Kinda nice that the only people hurt(aside from the shooter) in one of Americas latest shootings were pigs...

IDK maybe if the DEA didn't harass people on trains for "two bulk packages of marijuana"(a substance legal in the State) people wouldn't feel they had to pull a gun.

    Also

Former train conductor Michael Callanan said Monday's shooting illustrates the lack of security at Amtrak. "I can honestly say safety and security is (sic) virtually nonexistent at Amtrak," said Callanan. "In terms of this incident, it was a matter of if it's going to happen but when."

cool I guess we better put TSA at train stations. that'll help

      Amtrak is fucking wild sometimes.

I was on the Coast Starlight heading through the Cascades when we picked up someone who had been discharged from the Air Force in Klamath Falls. He came on the train with two suitcases full of beer and booze, took off all his clothes after becoming shit-faced drunk, and then ran naked into the woods somewhere near Sisters, OR when the train stopped for the sheriff deputies to come on and arrest him. It was the dead of winter.
