The KMT were literally just "some rebels" (which even included many of the communists before Jiang Jieshi's bruh moment) back before they deposed the Qing, then the Beiyang, then the various other warlords claiming to be the "real" legitimate body of China. It's like this guy is going out of his way to be as logically inconsistent as possible.
