On a more serious note, I sometimes think that these weird dreams of an European ethnostate in Latin America are a reflection of our long history of being fragmented and exploited by the imperial core. It's like you either nurture a healthy hatred of US and Europe and seek the consolidation of a Latin identity, which unites and empowers us to become stronger as a whole, or you join the opressors by reproducing their own discourse.
