Someone here said it feels like the sudden spike in China bad shit is an op, I honestly can’t imagine it’s not. That place used to be a fun surf, but holy shit it’s rough atm.

“We don’t have social movements, all we have is media now” to paraphrase Christman. When there is nothing but media, the elites win because they have total control over the narrative. Idk how were supposed to fight this when it’s fucking everywhere you go.

More places like this that are tied to actual organizing efforts.

Basically a return to user controlled forums and information sharing, this site is the 2021 equivalent of a zine or paper, only difference is that we don't have an actual movement behind us like Pravda did.

One place where I kinda agree with the Trots (though they're still stuck in the past for the most part).

I think we've already been shown how to handle it and probably by the same people doing this op. You'd point out they never talk about the other countries with much worse records in all areas, ask why they are so obsessed with hating on Asian people and just tell them to stop being a bigot.

Don't even go into some kind of complex geopolitical argument or imply there actually is one, just make the issue about cranky reactionaries bothering normal people with their nonsense.

Yes, which is why we need alternative communication strategies. Join an org and table, canvass, run candidates, etc. Anything that is at least one step removed from corporate platforms.
