I remember seeing this somewhere before, there was also mention of some weird anti-semitic conspiracy regarding CalArts

Can't remember the details, but IIRC chuds believe everyone who goes there is taught by (((the instructors))) to draw soy cuck comics about blue haired poly black trans women in wheelchairs instead of, I don't know, hentai ladies with giant boobs

ah yes, if there’s one thing the internet desperately lacks, it’s hentai ladies with giant boobs

          truly a lost artform

[slow zoom on a booru-style imageboard’s sidebar, the lines “giant breasts (465,768)”, “enormous breasts (307,328)”, “massive breasts (178,963)”, and “huge breasts (766,859)” fill the frame]

Duckman makes an entire episode based around being offensive.

REEEEE! (((They))) are trying to subvert my wholsome FAMLEE VALYOOZ!

Steven Universe (say these words to make any gammon 35 or under explode in rage)

REEEE! (((They))) are punishing us RED-BLOODED ALL AMERIKKKANZ! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-HAW!

They are absolutely unpleasable, ignore them.

it's not much of a conspiracy. /co/ just decided that Today's Cartoons are all the same because millenial queer SJW animators are all graduating from Calarts, and if you don't go to Calarts and copy the acceptable cartooning style they don't let you have a career. As you can imagine, it's a story a lot of failed Twitter artists like to tell themselves because they can't accept that the stuff they're making probably isn't exceptional and that the pop culture industry has never been a meritocracy.

you can search "calarts style" for supposed examples (half of which weren't even made by Calarts alumni). The bean smile of the character on the left in this comic is a direct reference to it.

Edit: I forgot about this but the phrase was popularized by John K :epstein:

for me the dumb part is that there is absolutely a wide range of cool cartoons with creative or even experimental visual styles being made if you're willing to look, but these losers want their tastes and only their tastes to be validated by corporate power.

And all that "CalArts" really is is just exaggerated Simpsons style with some anime characteristics.

Watch them REEEE anti-semitic gammon nonsense and then watch them wish that cartoons were more like Looney Tunes and Superman, works of art made by Jews.

Speaking of Cartoons, there's always a huge irony in anglo-murikkkans being antisemites but basing their entire personality off of Yosemite Sam, a Jewish character.
